“E.COOLINE. A REAL POWERBANK”

The World Championships in Doha were a real endurance test for the German track and field athletes for Tokyo 2020. 28 out of 68 marathon runners did not make it to the finish line. Several athletes had to give up due to heat problems. The German Athletics Association (DLV) were prepared for the heat – they relied on E.COOLINE functional cooling clothing. DLV team manager Siegfried Schonert explains in an interview why the topic of “cooling in sport” is becoming increasingly important.
