Arbitration Procedure

The Federal Government Commissioner for the Affairs of People with Disabilities has an arbitration board in accordance with Section 16 of the Federal Disability Rights Act (BGG). The arbitration board’s task is to resolve conflicts between people with disabilities and federal public bodies.

You can contact the arbitration board if you are not satisfied with the answers provided via the contact details listed above. The aim is not to determine winners or losers. Rather, the arbitration board’s goal is to find a joint, out-of-court solution to a problem with its help. The arbitration process is free of charge. You do not need legal counsel. You can find all the information about the arbitration process on the arbitration board’s website. There you can read how an arbitration procedure works and how to submit an application for arbitration.
