Anyone who suffers from Dercum’s disease knows how unbearable the pain caused by the fat deposits in the body can be. This rare disease causes painful fat deposits that can make life miserable. The disease is insidious and is divided into three types:
- Type 1: This is where the fat deposits form on the hips and knees.
- Type 2: Painful accumulations of fat can occur in different parts of the body.
- Type 3: Also known as the nodular type, nodules (lipomas) form which also cause considerable pain. Particularly common: This type can also occur without obesity.

The bad news first: there is currently no cure for Dercum’s disease. But there are measures to alleviate the symptoms. One measure is cooling. And this is where the E.COOLINE BigPad comes into play.
