Cooling curtains instead of air conditioning: how it works

The secret lies in the material. The COOLINE SX3 high-tech fleece is characterized by the functional finesse of binding large amounts of water within seconds and storing it directly on the intelligent 3D fibers. The advantage: an enormously large surface area of water molecules is created, which can evaporate immediately in a highly active manner and cool effectively. No water droplets or condensation form under pressure.

Simply spray the cooling curtain with cold tap water from a spray bottle to activate the high-tech fleece. Don’t worry: The curtains dry immediately afterward—they don’t drip. Instead, the water evaporates, providing pleasant cooling of up to 660 watts/hour within seconds and creating a healthy indoor climate. This approach reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 97% compared to air conditioners. A significantly better environmental balance without any additional energy costs.

E.COOLINE curtains can be hung using any standard curtain rods for panel or sliding curtains. They are easily and securely attached using a Velcro fastener that is already attached to the curtain—for quick and hassle-free installation.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

E.COOLINE cooling clothing is – in contrast to most other cooling functional textiles – washable.

All our items can be washed by hand or on a wool wash cycle without the spin function at 30°C using the special detergent developed for E.COOLINE cooling textiles. special detergent ‘DEOXX^® ecowash’ (alternatively: TOKO^® ecowash) washable. However, due to the different chemical compositions, we cannot guarantee this.
