Cooling curtains instead of air conditioning: how it works

The secret lies in the material. The COOLINE SX3 high-tech fleece is characterized by its functional finesseThe new technology binds large quantities of water inside within seconds and stores it firmly directly on the smart 3D fibers. The advantage: an enormously large surface area of water molecules is created, which can evaporate immediately in a highly active manner and cool effectively. No water droplets or condensation form under pressure.

Simply spray the cooling curtain  with cold tap water from a spray bottle to activate the high-tech fleece. Don’t worry: the curtains  dry out straight away afterwards; they don’t drip. Instead, the water evaporates, providing pleasant cooling in seconds at up to 660 watts/h and a healthy indoor climate. E.COOLINE curtains can be hung using any standard curtain rods for panel or sliding curtains. They are easily and securely attached using a Velcro fastener that is already attached to the curtain—for quick and hassle-free installation.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

E.COOLINE cooling clothing is   – in contrast to most other cooling functional textiles – washable.        

All of our items can be washed either by hand or on a wool cycle without a spin cycle at 30°C using DEOXX® ecowash, the special detergent developed specifically for E.COOLINE cooling functional textiles. (alternatively: TOKO^® ecowash) washable. However, due to the different chemical compositions, we cannot guarantee this.
