It doesn’t have to be 40°C. According to the health insurance company DAK, every year 10 million employees have heat problems at temperatures as low as 30°C and, unfortunately, heat-related emergencies are becoming increasingly common. Heat exhaustion, heat collapse and heat cramps are common. Unfortunately, heat stroke also occurs time and again. As with heart attacks or strokes, the first few minutes are crucial in saving lives or preventing secondary illnesses. Immediate cooling is an absolute priority, says Prof. Dr. Thomas Bein from the University of Regensburg*.
DO YOU HAVE A HEAT EMERGENCY PLAN?
The emergency kits or first aid kits that have been available up to now won’t get you very far in a heat emergency. Even ice packs are usually not available and, according to Professor Bein, are far too cold for an already stressed body. This is why the world’s first heat emergency kit was developed with experts:
An E.COOLINE cooling blanket that can be activated anywhere in seconds and is dry – activation water included – can save lives and prevent secondary illnesses.
Drinking water and electrolytes prevent dehydration, and easy-to-use heat diagnostics and other equipment tools help you provide the necessary support until emergency services arrive.
WITH THE HEAT EMERGENCY CASE, ANYONE CAN BECOME A HEAT EMERGENCY HELPER
In the hot summer months, this case is an indispensable tool for all companies to be able to react immediately in the event of acute heat illnesses and protect employees.
