The thermometer doesn’t need to hit 40°C—many people already experience heat-related issues from 30°C onward, and unfortunately, heat emergencies are becoming more frequent. Common heat-related conditions include heat exhaustion, heat collapse, and heat cramps. Sadly, heatstroke also occurs more often. As with heart attacks or strokes, the first few minutes are critical to saving lives and preventing long-term damage. Immediate cooling must be the top priority.

CONTENTS

• 1 x E.COOLINE Cooling Blanket
  Rapid cooling for heat emergency patients. The blanket cools within seconds, with a cooling output of up to 660 watts. It must be activated with the provided water (see included instructions).
• 0.5 Liter Activation Water
  Use this water to activate the E.COOLINE Cooling Blanket.
• 2 Paper Towels
  Use these to dry the blanket after activation (see included instructions). Once dry, the blanket is ready to use immediately.
• 2 Forehead Temperature Scan Strips
  Use these strips to get an estimate of the person’s forehead temperature. Hold both ends of the strip and press it firmly onto the dry forehead. After approx. 15 seconds, read the temperature. Pay attention to the color: GREEN indicates the correct temperature. Please remember the temperature to inform emergency responders.
• 1 Drinking Cup
• 2 x 100 ml Drinking Water
• 2 Sachets of Electrolyte Powder (6g each)
  If the affected person is conscious and not vomiting, it’s vital to provide fluids. Mix one sachet of electrolyte powder with one packet of drinking water in the provided cup. Attach the lid, shake briefly, and offer the solution carefully to the person.
• 2 x Face Masks (Mouth-Nose Cover)
• 4 x Disposable Gloves
• 2 x Vomit Bags
• 2 x Disinfectant Wipes
  Use the vomit bag if the affected person feels nauseous. Use the face masks, gloves, and disinfectant wipes to protect yourself.
• 2 x Emergency Resuscitation Masks for First Responders
  If the person is not breathing or breathing abnormally, place the mask with the valve facing up over their mouth. Secure the two elastic bands behind their ears. Use the valve to provide rescue breaths, then reassess breathing.
